Raymore, Missouri, is located approximately 23 miles south of downtown Kansas City, Missouri, on U.S. Highway 71. Raymore's proximity and easy commuting distance to several metropolitan areas has resulted in it being one of Missouri's fastest growing cities. Raymore's population has continued to steadily increase over the last 30 years with a projected population totaling over 20,000 by the year 2010. The 2000 U.S. Census reported a total population of 11,146; and in 2009, Raymore's estimated population was 18,594.

Lee’s Summit consists of 65.24 square miles, the second largest area in the state. People have been enticed to this progressive, yet restful and family-oriented community atmosphere, with a unified dream to create a dynamic, vital city. In 1980 with a population of 28,000 to nearly 93,000 today, the story of this once small town has been filled with the courage, dedication, and quiet determination of its citizens, making Lee's Summit an ideal city in which to live and work.
